Classical Destinations is a new concept in travel documentary and cultural lifestyle, exploring some of the most beautiful cities and landscapes in Europe while luxuriating in the great ‘classical’ music written within their precincts. Viewers will learn about the composers, of their music and the impact their surroundings had on their lives.

Directed and produced by Peter Beveridge of Bredon Hill Film & TV productions, Outlook was able to assist with some 2nd unit directing and took on the editing of the entire series.
Shot on location in High Definition and hosted and narrated by UK actor Simon Callow the series is part documentary, part performance, part history, part philosophy, part soap-opera and tragic-comedic whimsy; a sympathetic and captivating view of some of the great composers and the places and times they lived in.

Classical Destinations is to be broadcast in 2006 on SBS in Australia and worldwide via the BBC.
